Clarity on Data, Confidence in Partnership.
At Strategic Compass, we view data privacy not as a compliance hurdle, but as the foundational layer of trust between us and the leaders we advise. This policy outlines our commitment to handling your information with the same precision and respect we bring to our consulting frameworks.
We operate a static, brochure-style platform designed to inform and initiate conversation. We do not utilize tracking pixels for advertising, we do not sell data to third parties, and we believe in transparency regarding the minimal information required to respond to your inquiries.
Key Principle
"We collect only what is strictly necessary to answer your inquiry. If you browse our methodology pages anonymously, we have no way of knowing—and that is by design."
The Data We Process
To support your journey from discovery to engagement, we process specific data types. All data is stored on secure servers within the European Union (EU).
Identity & Contact
Name, Organization, Role. When you submit an inquiry via our contact form, we request this data to contextualize your request. We do not ask for personal addresses or sensitive identifiers.
Communication
Email Address & Message Content. This is the primary channel for our response. Message content is retained for a period of 24 months to allow us to reference our initial advice and track continuity in our relationship.
Technical Data
IP Address (Anonymized). Standard server logs may capture your IP address for security purposes (DDoS protection). This is stripped of identification capabilities and is not used for analytics.
Cookies (Strictly Necessary)
We use a single session cookie to maintain the integrity of the contact form during your visit. It expires when you close your browser. We do not use tracking or analytics cookies.
How We Use Information
Data enters our ecosystem for a specific purpose and remains there only as long as it serves that purpose. Our usage is strictly limited to operational necessities.
- • Consulting Inquiry Response: To analyze your request, prepare a relevant initial proposal, and coordinate scheduling with our partners.
- • Service Improvement: To review the nature of inquiries received and refine our public content to better address market needs.
- • Legal Compliance: To meet any tax or contractual record-keeping obligations mandated by French law.

External entities (e.g., secure cloud hosting providers) that store data on our behalf but do not access or use it for their own purposes.
Encryption
The process of encoding data (in transit and at rest) so only authorized parties can read it. We enforce TLS 1.2+ standards.
Retention Period
The time we keep data. For inquiries, this is 24 months from our last contact, after which data is anonymized or deleted.

A natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or body other than the data subject, controller, or processor. We do not share with third parties.
